  • Is it possible that it's been a year since my last entry??

Well, a lot has happened in a year. I have learned how to be a closer (and faced some MAJOR fears while doing it), adopted another girl from the 2nd children's home that my parents started, and been named a godmother to my oldest and dearest friend's firstborn. I'm still working on eliminating debt. Who knew it would take so long. But, the good news is that it is shrinking.

In a few months I should be back to doing my old job, which I liked a lot more. So, all in all, life is good. The only bad thing is that I have some friends that I have sort of lost touch with that I'd really like to get back in touch with. Being busy can be bad. So know that I still think the world of you and I'd love to hang out sometime.

    Bye.

  • Sigh! God is so good to me. Sometimes I complain and whine, but when I really think about my life, I have no room to do so! This last year I've learned so many new skills at work, I've gotten more confident as far as praying for people, I've asked for and been given a HUGE raise, some of the people on my prayer list are making steps toward God, and I've adopted two girls (in Africa) that would have been homeless and foodless (is that a word? well, it is now) if I hadn't said yes.

     Catherine and Kevina

So life is good for me. This next year is full of challenges too. I'm going to learn to be a closer at work - which is a big, big responsibility, but I feel that God has other plans for me too. {Insert prophetic word here} hehehehe.
